AS Roma has not completely completed its transfer window and could take advantage of the free player market to offer additional reinforcement to Gian Piero Gasperini. Free after his time at Charlotte, the 33-year-old Ivorian is among the main options and had already been close to joining Italy in 2023. The former Crystal Palace and Galatasaray player corresponds to the offensive profile sought by Gasperini. Another possibility, Krépin Diatta is also available for free after the end of his adventure in Monaco. Roma turned to these avenues after failed negotiations for Jamie Leweling and Malick Fofana.
The Roman club is also studying the possibility of recruiting Raphaël Guerreiro to strengthen the left-back position.
