An hour before the clash against Rennes, Luis Campos spoke at the microphone of League 1+ on the last hours of the Parisian transfer window, while several files continue to animate the club’s news. The PSG sports advisor was notably questioned about the situations of Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye. “The transfer window is not over, you talked about Barcola, Mbaye, we will see what happens, it’s like that every year until the end, that was the case with Gigio Donnarumma last year”he recalled, suggesting that the Parisian club could still experience some movements between now and the close of the market. Concerning Barcola, whose situation is the subject of much speculation, Campos was particularly firm on the position of PSG and the need to protect its interests. “It’s important to preserve PSG and defend the institution. Thoroughly »he simply said.

The Portuguese leader also spoke about the discussions around the offensive sector, in particular the arrivals of Ferran Torres, Mika Godts, and Maghnes Akliouche as well as Lucas Digne. “We spoke with the ecoach, the president, about the possibility of bringing in Ferran like Mika Godts, Akliouche, Lucas… Ferran replaces Gonçalo Ramos and Lee, Ferran is a big name, we are counting on him”he explained. Campos then recognized the particularity of a market disrupted by the World Cup and a different calendar from previous years. “It was a very difficult transfer window with the World Cup, the rules are a little different, normally before the World Cup there are teams who buy before, and after there is another. » However, PSG remains attentive to the opportunities that could present themselves in the final days. “By the end of the transfer window, even on the arrivals side, if we find a good opportunity we will do it”concluded Luis Campos, confirming that Paris is still not ruling out a final move.
