AC Milan are looking for a new boss for their central defense and are now interested in Ruben Dias. According to the Gazzetta dello Sportthe Portuguese defender from Manchester City is one of the profiles studied by the Rossoneri in this last part of the transfer window. At 29 years old and under contract with City until 2029, Dias would immediately bring his experience and leadership to a defense that Milan want to strengthen as a priority. Despite two spells out with muscular problems last season, the Portugal international remained an important starter when available.
The matter nevertheless remains complex given the player’s status and contract at Manchester City. Milan could, however, take advantage of the English club’s desire to rejuvenate their squad to try their luck. Dias’ profile also corresponds to the growing Portuguese influence around the Milan project and the proximity to Jorge Mendes. At this stage, however, no offer or agreement is mentioned: Ruben Dias is one of the options considered by AC Milan, who made the recruitment of a central defender one of its main objectives before the closure of the transfer window.
