Arnaud Pouille wanted to restore the chronology around the reversal of PSG-Rennes, finally scheduled for Sunday evening at Roazhon Park due to the state of the lawn at the Parc des Princes. “On Tuesday, we were warned by the League that there was a problem with the pitch at the Parc des Princes. PSG contacted us on Tuesday evening and the League Competitions Commission worked methodically. They asked us if we were able to organize the meeting this weekend as part of a reversal. On Wednesday morning, they found that the lawn was not passable and brought us together on Wednesday afternoon”he said at a press conference.

After the impossibility for Paris to fall back on the Stade de France, Jean-Bouin or Charléty, “we moved on to the third part of the procedure, therefore the reversal of the meeting. We were asked if we could host the match and the answer was positive”he added. Arnaud Pouille explained that he had requested that the closure of part of the stands planned as part of a sanction take place instead during the match against Le Mans, so that supporters who were planning to travel to Paris could attend the match at Roazhon Park. Rennes also wanted this reversal to have no negative impact on its finances this season.
