Franck Kessié wants to return to Italy and has made Juventus his priority according to Gianluca Di Marzio. Free since the end of his adventure at Al-Ahli, the 29-year-old Ivorian midfielder is currently not considering any other proposal, while the Bianconeri are still looking to strengthen Luciano Spalletti’s midfield. The presence of Frédéric Massara, who has known Kessié since their time together at AC Milan, could weigh in on the discussions.
A return to Serie A would have a special flavor for Kessié, who spent seven years in Italy between Cesena, Atalanta and AC Milan. Then leaving for FC Barcelona then in Saudi Arabia, the Ivorian has just completed three seasons with Al-Ahli, notably winning two Asian Champions Leagues and a Saudi Arabian Super Cup. Captain of Ivory Coast during the 2026 World Cup, he now wants to return to a championship that he knows perfectly. Juventus must, however, free up space in its midfield: the departure of Arthur, which could be resolved quickly, as well as that of another player in the sector would be necessary before being able to materialize the arrival of Kessié.
