Tonight, FC Barcelona plays the Joan Gamper Trophy, an annual friendly match which serves to introduce the team – and mainly the new recruits – to the Barcelona public. The players entered the pitch one by one, and Rodri was thus able to receive a standing ovation from the Blaugrana supporters. But this was not the case for João Cancelo.
And that didn’t please the Portuguese, who was filmed making a rather angry gesture in the corridors of the stadium, alongside his teammates. Barça had actually not been able to complete all the administrative procedures for him to be officially presented as a Barça player.
