This summer, Bayern Munich has already strengthened itself significantly in the transfer window, notably with the arrivals of Ismaël Saibari and Nathaniel Brown. The Germans can also congratulate themselves on having managed to retain Michael Olise, courted in particular by PSG and Real Madrid. The Bavarians now hope to complete some sales, such as those of João Palhinha, Sacha Boey or Bryan Zaragoza. In the meantime, the Munich residents have made a big sale which has nothing to do with the transfer window.

According to Sports 1 and the group Merkur/TZBayern Munich is preparing to sell 5% of its capital (FC Bayern München AG, its limited company) to the heating and air conditioning company Viessmann. This transaction should bring in around 250 million euros for the Munich club. “This would make Viessmann the fourth shareholder of FC Bayern. Previously, Allianz, Adidas and Audi each held 8.33% of the shares. 70% – and therefore the majority of voting rights – would remain held by the association”specifies Sport 1.
