Hectic day at FC Barcelona this Thursday. While waiting for the rumor leading to the recruitment of Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic to materialize, Barça announced the departure of one of its players, then the recruitment of another in the process.
Shortly after midday, reserve team goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili was officially loaned to Almeria of the Spanish second division. The Hungarian will stay there, at least, until June 30, 2027, the Andalusian club having a purchase option, the amount of which has not yet been leaked.
Joao Cancelo makes his comeback
A few hours later, the account X of the Blaugrana ended the suspense by confirming the signing of Joao Cancelo. Free from any contract after his departure from Al-Hilal, the Portuguese full-back signed a lease until 2029 and returns to the club for the third time in his career.
