Borussia Dortmund is not giving up on Said El Mala. Despite several refusals from FC Cologne, BVB is preparing a new offensive to try to recruit the German winger, only 19 years old. According to BILDthe next proposal could exceed 50 million euros, bonus included, while a first offer of 37 million fixed euros to which was added 8 million euros in bonus had already been rejected. Cologne remains particularly demanding and would like to obtain around €50 million guaranteed to agree to let its young talent, still committed for several years, leave. Dortmund could therefore be forced to make one of the most important investments in its history to achieve its goals.
The BVB, however, has a major argument in the negotiations: El Mala wants to join Dortmund. The player made his preference known to the two clubs after having discussed the sporting project with Niko Kovač. Author of 13 goals and 5 assists last season, the young German has become one of the great attractions of the transfer window and his profile particularly appeals to Dortmund, accustomed to betting on players with very high potential. The club had however initially set its limit around €50 million, but now seems willing to push it back to convince Cologne.
