Paris does not intend to give up on the Mika Godts track. After a first proposal of 45 million euros refused by Ajax Amsterdam at the start of the week, the Capital club intends to come back with a more generous offer. According to information from Sky Sports Italythis should reach 55 million euros, enough to give Dutch management more pause.

However, the Italian media specifies that Paris will have to put forward solid arguments to convince Ajax to let go of the 21-year-old Belgian winger. Because for the moment, the Amsterdam club would not be willing to part with its player, author of 17 goals and 15 assists in all competitions last season. As proof, Godts started Thursday evening during Ajax’s victory against the Irish from Shelbourne (3-1) in qualifying for the Europa Conference League. He even converted a penalty, before missing another.

Ajax bought him for 400,000 euros

An unbalancing winger, very strong in the one-on-one and capable of scoring as well as being on the last pass, Godts meets the specifications drawn up by Luis Enrique for the winger position, especially since Yan Diomandé has finally joined Real Madrid. If his arrival is confirmed, the Belgian would undoubtedly fill the probable departure of Bradley Barcola, established as Liverpool’s priority at the left winger position.

At 55 million euros, it would also become the fifth biggest sale in the history of Ajax (behind Antony, Frenkie de Jong, Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martínez), who bought him for only 400,000 euros from Genk in 2023. At the same time, Paris continues to work on the Ferran Torres track, designated as the player capable of replacing Gonçalo Ramos. To replace Kang-In Lee, PSG decided to bet on Maghnes Akliouche, made official this Thursday.
