The transfer of Yan Diomandé to Real Madrid is nearing its conclusion. According to the latest information from Fabrizio Romano, RB Leipzig has given the green light to the Ivorian winger to travel to Spain in order to undergo his medical examination and sign his contract with the Merengues.
The two clubs reached an agreement after several days of negotiations and only the final administrative details remain to be resolved before formalization. The operation could reach 140 million euros (bonus included), making Diomandé the most expensive transfer in the history of Real Madrid ahead of Jude Bellingham who arrived for 130 million euros from Dortmund in 2023.
