The Lucas Perri case is actually much more advanced than it seems. According to our information, Torino has already completed most of the operation and an agreement in principle exists with the various parties around a loan with a purchase option. The discussions have not yet been officially finalized on an administrative level, but Turin leaders are showing real optimism as the foundations of the agreement are solid. Internally, there is no concern despite the absence of a signature according to our indiscretions. The Piedmontese club considers that the hardest part has been done and does not expect to see the transfer called into question. The recruitment of the Brazilian goalkeeper remains an absolute priority in order to bring a new leader to the position after a transfer window already marked by the arrivals of several promising reinforcements who convinced the staff including Eray Cömert, Pietro Comuzzo, Kian Fitz-Jim and Gaetano Oristanio.

If the transfer is still slow to be formalized, it is only because of a classic domino effect which affects the goalkeeper market. Torino is now waiting for Manchester City to complete the arrival of Gerónimo Rulli before immediately validating the departure of James Trafford to Leeds. Once these two movements are definitively confirmed, all the conditions will be met to allow Lucas Perri to join Turin. According to our information, the Garnet leaders remain particularly calm in the face of this situation and believe that it is only a question of timing. No substantive blockage remains in the negotiations and the Italian club is convinced that the final formalities will be quickly resolved. Barring an unlikely turnaround, this week could thus be that of the outcome of a file which now depends more on the pace of operations in England than on discussions directly concerning the Brazilian goalkeeper.
