According to FilesArsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and even Bayern Munich would be ready to take a chance on the 27-year-old player. With Jurrien Timber still injured in his groin, the Gunners seem the most interested in this matter but are waiting before taking action. They actually want to know what the player wants before offering them something.
A replacement already found
For their part, the Blaugranas have anticipated and have already found Jules Koundé’s replacement in the event of his departure. The club is indeed targeting Pedro Porro, author of a very good World Cup with the Spain team. Contacts between the two parties have already been established despite the right-back’s extension until 2031 with Tottenham. This Wednesday, Porro’s agent went to Barcelona to speak with the club’s management.
The Iberian media, however, specifies that an attempt at an official approach to the Spanish international will depend on the future of Jules Koundé. As a reminder, the Frenchman extended his contract with Barça until 2031 a year ago. He should speak with Hansi Flick in the coming days to discuss his future, before potentially receiving one or more offers from other clubs.
