After a complicated season at Olympique de Marseille, marked by limited playing time and a sometimes heavy context, Bakola chose to relaunch his career with Sassuolo. In an interview given to Sassuolonewsthe young midfielder looked back with emotion on his time at the Canebière, paying particular tribute to Roberto De Zerbi, whom he considers to be a major player in his progress. “In Marseille, we make you understand that you have to fight for the jersey”explains Bakola, still marked by the demands of the Vélodrome, which he describes as “the best stadium in the world”.
