DAZN is redoing the cherry, one could say. The British company has recovered the TV rights to broadcast the Spanish Football Championship in France, in possession of beIN Sports since 2012. This announcement helps improve an image tarnished by the conflict with the Professional Football League (LFP). The British platform held Ligue 1 over the period 2024-2029 against 375 million euros annually. The contract was terminated a year later, in 2025, due to lack of sufficient subscribers.
By recovering La Liga, DAZN sees its portfolio a little more enriched. Subscribers can already follow Serie A (Italian Championship), the Italian Cup, the Spanish Cup and a selection of matches from the Dutch and Belgian championships.
DAZN also maintains its status as a distributor of Ligue 1, by offering access to the channel League 1 + which will broadcast all of the matches, nine per day, from this 2026-2027 season.
A promotion at 14.99 euros per month
And to attract people, a combined offer is being offered until September 6, 2026. DAZN And League 1 + at 14.99 euros per month for three months then €22.99/month for the remaining nine months. This pack therefore includes the other championships mentioned above (Liga, Serie A, Jupiler Pro League, Eredivise, etc.) and also the Betclic Ligue 3 (formerly National Championship).
