At 32, John Stones is preparing to discover a second championship, after the Premier League. The former Manchester City player, free from any contract since July 1, has agreed with Inter Milan to arrive in the coming hours, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The defender, an English international (94 caps), will sign a two-year contract with a salary of four million euros per year.

Captain of Manchester City’s central defense, the former Cityzens player played 295 games under Pep Guardiola, winning six Premier Leagues and a Champions League. Not always spared from injuries, the former Everton player will bring his experience to the defense. It remains to be seen whether Stones arrives to replace Alessandro Bastoni, who is coveted by Real Madrid.
