Manchester City will receive the biggest check with €3.1 million from FIFA thanks to its 19 items sent to Mexico, Canada and the United States. This is the largest contingent in the competition. PSG and its 16 players will receive €2.49 million in compensation. Arsenal (14 players) completes the podium by obtaining €2.4 million.
Bayern Munich had 18 summons during this World Cup but will only receive €2.3 million, mainly due to the early elimination of Germany, in the round of 16. In Ligue 1, LOSC ranks 2nd with 8 players, for a total of €1.2 million. Next come AS Monaco (6 players, €960,000) then Stade Rennais (€930,000), Strasbourg (€910,000), OGC Nice (€890,000) then OM (€880,000). Ligue 1 is the 4th best-paid championship with €11.83 million in compensation, and comes behind the Premier League, the Bundesliga and La Liga.
