Having just arrived from Olympique Lyonnais, the young Portuguese talent Afonso Moreira made an impression during his first steps in the jersey of Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Coming into play during the friendly match against Baumberg (D5), the striker quickly scored twice, allowing his team to lead 0-3 in the 27th minute.
First author of a beautiful header to open the scoring in the 22nd minute, the 21-year-old winger then doubled the lead by deceiving the opposing goalkeeper from close range, six minutes later.
