Coventry City spends around €20m for Aurèle Amenda

A 22-year-old Swiss central defender playing for Eintracht Frankfurt, Aurèle Amenda is having a good season with the Eagles with whom he played 29 matches. The native of Bienne who played in the 2026 World Cup, however, has just had a change of scenery by landing at promoted Coventry City for a transfer estimated at around 20 million euros.

“Coventry City FC are delighted to announce the signing of Aurèle Amenda on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee, subject to international transfer clearance being obtained. The 22-year-old central defender arrives from Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga), where he played 42 games in two seasons at Deutsche Bank Park.we can read in a press release.
