Coveted by Xabi Alonso and Chelsea this summer, Granit Xhaka will not join the Blues. As we revealed to you, the 33-year-old Swiss midfielder chose to stay at Sunderland, the club he joined in the summer of 2025 and of which he has become one of the main players.
A refusal which particularly frustrated the Spanish technician with his management, he who hoped to convince his management to complete the operation in order to find a player he had successfully managed at Bayer Leverkusen.
