Arsenal continues to explore the most ambitious avenues to strengthen its midfield. After a successful season despite a lost Champions League final (with a Premier League title to defend), the Gunners want to take another step forward on the European scene. With this in mind, the London club has never hidden its interest in Bruno Guimarães. The highly sought-after Newcastle captain is keen to give his career a boost this summer, although the Magpies have no intention of facilitating his departure.

According to The SunArsenal has not given up on recruiting the Brazilian international during this transfer window. Mikel Arteta greatly appreciates the profile of the 28-year-old midfielder, considered one of the best in his position in the Premier League. It now remains to convince Newcastle, who will demand a colossal sum to let their captain, under contract until 2028, leave. The Gunners know that the file will be complex, but they intend to try their luck to offer themselves top-notch reinforcement.
