Ederson's transfer to Manchester United falls through

Expected to be the future big recruit for Manchester United in midfield, Ederson will ultimately not come. The arrival of the Brazilian international (5 selections) was however announced for several weeks as being almost complete. At least June, The Athletic revealed an agreement between Atalanta Bergamo and Manchester United for around 40.5 million euros, plus 3.5 in bonuses.

This Friday evening, Fabrizio Romano reveals that the transfer is finally no longer relevant. Manchester United have informed the Italian club of their intentions not to take this matter any further. As a reminder, the club should soon announce the signing of Andrey Santos from Chelsea for around 60 million euros. Ederson should stay in Italy. An unexpected change of plans.
