Frank Lampard is reaping the fruits of his labor. Appointed head of Coventry City in November 2024, the legendary former Chelsea midfielder managed to bring the English club to the Premier League. As a reward, the Sky Blues have just offered him two additional years of contract.

“Coventry City are pleased to announce that their head coach, Frank Lampard, has signed a new contract until 2029. The 48-year-old has enjoyed a very successful period since taking over in November 2024. Having taken the team from 17th place to the play-offs in his first season, Lampard went on to lead the club to the Sky Bet Championship title last season, securing our return to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years”indicates the English club.
