Norway-France: FIFA refused to allow the Blues to wear the black armband

Didier Deschamps was not present on the French team’s sidelines this Friday evening, during the 3rd match against Norway. The national coach returned to France following the death of his mother. But he will already be back, as announced by Guy Stéphan, his faithful assistant, at the microphone of beIN Sports following the 4-1 victory.

“Big thought for Didier, who will join us tomorrow, who will be training with us. We can’t wait to see him again”he confided at the outset. France will soon officially know its opponent for the round of 16.
