Fifa ranking: France outdistances Argentina

Thanks to its victory against Sweden (3-0) on Tuesday evening, the French team took the lead in the Fifa rankings at the expense of Argentina. This will not change until the round of 16 of the World Cup.

With its flawless performance since the start of the 2026 World Cup, the French team continues its rise in the Fifa rankings. Winners of Sweden (3-0) Tuesday evening in the round of 16, the Blues pocketed 9.40 points. A jackpot enough to overtake Argentina in the rankings.
