The World Cup is in full swing. The 3rd day begins this evening, already, in group B. England played its 2nd match only yesterday evening with a 0-0 draw against Ghana. She will have to wait until Saturday June 27 and her last meeting against Panama to know her fate. Meanwhile in the country, the transfer window is not sleeping. Quite the contrary, and it is a member of Thomas Tuchel who is directly concerned.

For several weeks now, Enzo Maresca’s new club has been thinking of recruiting Elliot Anderson. Holder and even very valuable during the victory of the Three Lions against Croatia (4-2), the midfielder was a little less visible against the low block imposed by the Black Stars. This did not dampen the management of the Sky Blues. After a few days of break, she is preparing to resume negotiations with Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest wants €150m

New discussions are planned within 24 hours, says the Daily Mail and could well reach an agreement this time. The Reds have already refused two offers, the last of which is estimated at €139 million. They are prepared to accept a move for the 23-year-old for €150m (£130m), which would make him the most expensive player in Premier League history, ahead of Alexander Isak, who moved from Newcastle to Liverpool for €145m last year.

He would at the same time become the most expensive English player, overtaking his midfield teammate in the selection, Declan Rice, bought for €121 million by Arsenal from West Ham three years ago. Since his arrival at the City Ground two years ago from Newcastle (€41m), Anderson has become one of the best players in his position in England. With this transfer taking shape, he would propel himself to the rank of star of the championship and become one of the faces of Maresca’s Man City.
