Nico Paz will continue his adventure with Como 1907. His father and agent, Pablo Paz, confirmed that the Argentinian international would stay an additional season in Italy, a choice shared by the player, the Lombard club and Real Madrid, who believe that playing in the Champions League under the orders of Cesc Fàbregas represents the best step for his progress. “It was a difficult decision because Real Madrid really wanted him, but one more year in Italy was the best option”explained Pablo Paz.
There are still some details to be defined and adjusted, such as the price. Nico Paz is happy because he feels very good in Como and is very appreciated, added the player’s father, who affirmed that he thought it was the best choice for his son and that he felt “very comfortable” in Italy. At the same time, Real Madrid reached an agreement with Como to sell the 50% of the economic rights it still held over the player for 60 million euros. In return, the Madrid club retains a buyout option set at 80 million euros, allowing it to keep control of its future.
