Lucas Bergvall could leave Tottenham this summer. According to The Athleticthe 20-year-old Swedish midfielder, who is participating in the 2026 World Cup, informed Spurs leaders of his wish to take on a new challenge, while several English and European clubs are closely monitoring his situation. Arriving from DjurgĂĄrden in 2024, the Swedish international remains linked to the London club until June 2031.
Author of a remarkable first season under Ange Postecoglou, concluded with a Europa League title and a distinction as the club’s player of the year, Bergvall then lost his importance in the rotation. Less used by Thomas Frank then Roberto De Zerbi, in particular due to tactical choices and strong competition in the middle, the young player believes that his development could involve a departure during this summer transfer window.
