This night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the 2nd day of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup is coming to an end. For the moment, we already know the identity of 4 teams which are eliminated. Thus, Jordan, Haiti, Turkey and Tunisia are the first four teams to be guaranteed to be eliminated after two matches.

Four other teams are guaranteed to finish in first place in their group. These are two host countries, Mexico and the United States, but also Germany and Argentina. France and Norway are also qualified, but they will play for first place this Friday.
