Olympique Lyonnais passed the second in its transfer window. Despite limited financial resources, the seven-time French champions know how to sniff out the right moves. A few minutes ago, Les Gones formalized the arrival of OGC Nice winger, Kaïl Boudache. Aged 19, the latter arrives for free and has signed a five-year contract. And he will undoubtedly not be the only reinforcement to soon arrive on the banks of the Rhône.

In recent days, the German press announced to everyone’s surprise that OL had almost managed to sign Julien Duranville. The 20-year-old Belgian winger would come to compensate for the probable departure of Afonso Moreira to Bayer Leverkusen. A transfer of around €8.5 million including bonus was mentioned for the former resident of Anderlecht who never managed to establish himself with the Marsupiaux or in Switzerland, during his loan to FC Basel.

OL accelerates

This evening, Sky Germany ensures that an agreement in principle has been reached between all parties. OL and BVB will finalize a transfer of €8.5 million (Dortmund would recover its initial investment), bonus included and the German team managed to include a clause allowing it to recover 20% of the amount of a future resale. The affair could even be made official as early as this month.

With the upcoming arrival of Duranville, OL may soon announce a departure. And barring a change in the situation, there is a strong chance that the starting player will be Afonso Moreira for whom the Lyon leaders hope to recover a check for at least €30 million after snatching the young Portuguese from Sporting CP in exchange for €2 million.
