As Manchester United’s full squad list was sent to the Premier League on Wednesday, the Red Devils announced three immediate departures. In an official press release, the Premier League club, which will compete in the Champions League next year, indicated the exit door to Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho. The three players have reached the end of their contracts and will therefore have to find an emergency exit. In this lot, the Brazilian midfielder should notably join Inter Miami.
“Casemiro enjoyed four seasons at the club, playing 160 matches and scoring 26 goals. He played a major role in helping United win the 2023 Carabao Cup, scoring a header in a colossal performance against Newcastle United. The Brazilian national team captain also won the Emirates FA Cup in 2024. Tyrell Malacia joined United in 2022 and made 50 appearances for the first team. The full-back who has battled hard against a series of unfortunate injuries during his time at the club, has played three times this season. He was part of the match day squad when we lifted the Carabao Cup in 2023. Jadon Sancho arrived at Old Trafford in 2021 and was also part of the 2023 Carabao Cup winning squad. The winger played 83 times for the club before returning to Borussia Dortmund on loan and also made temporary moves to Chelsea and Aston Villa. Everyone at the club would like to thank Casemiro, Tyrell and Jadon for their contributions to Manchester United and wish them well for the future.”it is announced in the document.
