The youngest player to debut in the German second division, at 16 years and 14 days, Kennet Eichhorn quickly stood out to observers. With impressive maturity in his game, the central midfielder has been followed in recent months by RB Leipzig and Liverpool. But he chose another destination.

Kennet Eichhorn has decided to join Bayer Leverkusen, now coached by former Toulouse coach Carles Martinez Novell. He leaves Hertha Berlin for a check for around €9 million and signs a contract until 2031 with his new club. The news has just been made official
