The transfer window has not even officially opened its doors yet, but FC Barcelona has already made very good progress. Determined to offer Hansi Flick a strong squad to finally go all the way in the Champions League next season, the Catalan management has already put 80 million euros (bonus included) on the table to recruit Anthony Gordon, in a lightning operation that was anything but expected. Then, the Barcelonans also want to enlist various players like Bernardo Silva, now followed by Real Madrid, as well as Julian Alvarez.

The Argentine’s case is likely to excite Spain throughout the summer, and the negotiations between the Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid promise to be particularly long. A defender could also be enlisted by the end of August. In parallel with these files, Barcelona scouts also supervise and follow other young players across the Old Continent.

Barça scouts several young people

As indicated Mundo Deportivothe Spanish champion is always looking for young talents, who would complement the many nuggets coming out of La Masia. Lennart Karl (Bayern Munich), Kees Smit (AZ Alkmaar), Rodrigo Mora (Porto) and Lewis Miley (Newcastle) are thus on the shelves of the Catalan recruitment unit.

And that’s not all, since Barça has not let go of Ibrahim Maza. The Spanish press had already, a few months ago, mentioned interest from Barcelona in the Bayer Leverkusen player. Mundo Deportivo confirms that the Blaugrana interest in the 20-year-old attacking midfielder is still relevant, also followed by other big European clubs like Manchester City. Author of 3 goals and 4 assists in 28 Bundesliga games this season, Maza is under contract until 2030 and his market value is estimated at 45 million per Transfermarkt.
