Winner of its second consecutive Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain finished its 2025/2026 season in apotheosis. Now it is time for the capital club to focus on the summer transfer window. Argentinian Julian Alvarez remains the big issue of the summer, even if the Red and Blue are also looking to strengthen their wings. The Ile-de-France residents have also made young Yan Diomandé one of their favorite targets.

Aged 19, the RB Leipzig player has just concluded a very satisfactory first season in Germany, punctuated by 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 matches, in all competitions. Very quickly, the former resident of Leganés attracted the interest of major European players such as PSG, Real Madrid and Liverpool, the Reds even having checked his name to make him the successor to Mohamed Salah. Aware of the value of its colt on the market, Leipzig has indicated that it will demand €100 million from any club wishing to recruit a winger who still has four years of contract remaining.

PSG really tempts Diomandé

Recently, we revealed to you that PSG had advanced its pawns in this matter and that Diomandé had given the green light to join the reigning double European champions. Later, the native of Abidjan confided that he would like to play soon in a major European club. “I’m not going to say Paris, Liverpool or Real, but it would be a good idea to play for big clubs. Everyone has ambitions and every day you want to go higher. So it was Leganés, today I am a Leipzig player and… I am not going to hide my desires or my dreams. I want to play for a big club, of course”.

This evening, on the eve of the friendly match between France and Ivory Coast in Nantes, Diomandé reached a new milestone. Asked about his future and the interest of the capital club, the Ivorian declared that PSG was his favorite club. “My future? I have a team that takes care of this. I try to stay as focused as possible. I’ve loved PSG since I was little. I think my father was a PSG supporter. But I don’t plan for the future, I remain focused on the World Cup. We’ll see what happens next.”. this does not guarantee a future in Paris for Diomandé, but the message has the merit of being clear…
