Yesterday afternoon, Philippe Diallo was present in Clairefontaine to share a lunch with the French team and President Emmanuel Macron. At the heart of the discussions, the bonuses linked to the next World Cup as well as the number of tickets which will be allocated to members of the squad were notably debated. And if the negotiations took place in a particular context, since the FFF had asked the players to make an effort by proposing a reduction in bonuses, the discussions ultimately took place calmly.

However, at the castle, a certain bitterness was present according to The Team. Indeed, the tickets intended for the players’ relatives did not leave everyone indifferent as to the number of tickets granted. The Federation offered to offer two free places per player, with the possibility of purchasing six additional places, for a total of eight tickets. The players would have considered this insufficient, and discussions could thus remain open on this subject.
