Kylian Mbappé had a blank season with Real Madrid. Well ahead of Barça in La Liga, the Madrid club was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. This premature exit did not, however, prevent Kylian Mbappé from panicking the counters.
Already top scorer in La Liga with 25 goals in 31 matches, the Bondynois also finished top scorer in the Champions League with 15 goals in 11 matches this time. Enough to allow him to be just ahead of Harry Kane, author of 14 goals in 13 matches, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, named best player in the competition with his 10 goals and 6 assists.
