Jordan Bardella comes out of silence after the violent excesses that occurred in Paris

In the aftermath of the violent excesses that occurred in Paris after PSG’s coronation in the Champions League, Jordan Bardella reacted strongly this Monday morning on BFMTV. The president of the National Rally said he “horrified” by scenes that he describes as “quasi-civil war”evoking looted businesses, acts of vandalism and law enforcement being targeted. According to him, these events reflect “a surge of violence to which we are getting used to and which is only getting worse”also denouncing what he considers to be a “non-response from the State” faced with these repeated situations during major sporting events.

In his intervention, the MEP called for a start from the authorities, believing that France is becoming a country where “life and partying are totally impossible today” without overflows. The Minister of the Interior Laurent Nuñez, for his part, recalled that the system put in place was “exceptional” and accompanied by firm instructions, after more than 890 arrests and 312 police custody recorded during the night from Saturday to Sunday…
