This is also the name that was given to the “Rue du bac” metro station on line 12 to celebrate the heroes of PSG. Among the many tributes paid to Parisian players, the RATP has indeed decided to do it in its own way by renaming three of its Paris metro stations.

In addition to this well-intentioned play on words, the “Europe” station has become “Champions of Europe” on line 3 and the Porte de Saint-Cloud station, which is located next to the Parc des Princes, has become “Paris is magical”. There is no doubt that Parisian supporters will have the opportunity to take a souvenir photo of these stations before going to celebrate their team’s new coronation.
Not the first tribute
This sympathetic gesture from the RATP recalls the tribute it paid to the players of theFrench team after their 2018 world champion title, during which the line 2 station “Charles de Gaulle – Étoile” was transformed into “On a 2 stars”.
