Zidane retained

In the goals, Luca Zidane is present despite an injury which caused him to miss the end of the season with

Ramy Bensebaini or even Aissa Mandi are very present in defense, unsurprisingly. The surprise comes rather from the return of Mohamed Tougaidefender of Esperance Tunis.

Abdelli and Bennacer out

The biggest absentees from this list are in midfield, since Himad Abdelliafter a complicated second part of the season withOMis not part of the list. Another player who played for the Marseille club, Ismaël Bennacer does not seem to have convinced in Croatia and is also absent. Nabil Bentaleb, Hicham Boudaoui And
Houssem Aouar are clearly present in the middle.

Mahrez for one last

Amine Gouiri is part of the list. It will notably accompany Riyad Mahrez for his second and last World Cup. The former Manchester City player is one of only three Algerian players to have participated in the Fennecs epic in Brazil in 2014, with Aïssa Mandi and Nabil Bentaleb.
