Reigning Ballon d’Or Ousmane Dembélé equalized for PSG shortly after the hour mark against Arsenal in the Champions League final on Saturday in Budapest.

Led by Arsenal from the start of the match on a goal from Kai Havertz (6th) – for a controversial opening score since Leandro Troassard, the decisive passer, blocked the ball with his arm -, PSG waited until the hour mark to equalize.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was caught by Cristhian Mosquera in the Gunners area (62nd) and the Spanish international defender escaped exclusion even though he had already been warned by the match referee, despite protests from Marquinhos.

Ousmane Dembélé inherited the penalty kick and crossed his shot past David Raya to reset the counters to zero (65th). The 2025 Ballon d’Or scored his 8th goal of the season in the Champions League, equaling his total from the previous year.
