Samir Nasri will not be in Budapest tomorrow for the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal (6 p.m.). A former Marseille player and former Gunner but whose relationship with Arsenal supporters faded after his transfer to Manchester City in 2011, the Canal+ consultant will be present on the live broadcast but from the Paris studios. He preferred to leave his place on the sidelines to David Ginola, ex-PSG player and labeled Parisian supporter, and to Robert Pirès, Arsenal legend. He also confirms with The Team having been insulted by PSG fans during the semi-final return in Munich.

So yes, it’s true, I was insulted by Parisian supporters. But that’s part of the game as a former Marseille player… Even if I think they had other things to do, like celebrate qualifying for the final (smile)taunts the former French international, especially deploring the insults towards his mother. What bothered me was that they insulted my mother when hey, you’re qualified for the final, celebrate with your players! It’s not the first time I’ve been insulted in a stadium and it certainly won’t be the last. And if I stopped at that, I would stop doing TV and I would stop going to the field.»
