The former Real Madrid player missed the boat. Indeed, Sergio Ramos will not be able to buy Sevilla FC following several inconsistent movements on his part. If an agreement had been reached on May 12 for an acquisition estimated at 450 million euros, discussions would have suddenly exploded yesterday during a meeting organized in the city. According to sources close toEl Paísthe former La Roja player and his group of investors would have modified the initial conditions of the operation.

Ramos wanted to buy only 30,000 shares compared to the 86,000 initially planned, for around 100 million euros, before launching a capital increase of 120 million. A proposal which would have angered the main shareholders, who felt cheated after months of debate. Thus, Sevillian leaders consider that the discussions are broken off. The source even indicates that the Liga club is already thinking about other solutions to stabilize itself… without Ramos in the game.
