The terrible descent into hell of Lazio Rome

It was expected, it’s now official. Coach of Lazio from 2021 to 2024 and returned in June 2025 for a second mandate, Maurizio Sarri leaves the celeste club. The announcement has just been made by the Roman team which should appoint Gennaro Gattuso in his place.

“SS Lazio announces that an amicable agreement has been reached to terminate the contracts of coach Maurizio Sarri and his technical staff, the corresponding documents having been duly filed with the Serie A League. The club would like to thank the coach and his staff for their professionalism and wishes them great success in their future endeavours”we can read in the press release. As a reminder, Sarri is expected on the Atalanta side.
