Algeria: Hicham Boudaoui restored for the World Cup? The answer falls

Out injured during the play-off between Saint-Etienne and Nice on Tuesday evening, Hicham Boudaoui gave his news two weeks before the start of the World Cup.

Algerian supporters hold their breath. During the first leg play-off for accession to Ligue 1 between AS Saint-Etienne and OGC Nice (0-0), Tuesday evening at Geoffroy-Guichard, Hicham Boudaoui was forced to leave his partners at the very start of the match.

If he tried to regain his place, the Nice midfielder was finally replaced at 10e minute, overtaken by dizziness.

While waiting to learn more about the nature of his injury and the duration of his unavailability, Hicham Boudaoui gave reassuring news after the match. Questioned about his state of health by La Gazette du Fennec in the mixed zone, the native of Béchar said he was doing well.

The specialist media journalist then asked him if he was confident about his participation in the World Cup, Boudaoui replied: “ inshallah ”, giving a thumbs up. This should reassure everyone in Algeria.
