While waiting to officially arrive on the Real Madrid bench, José Mourinho discusses his demands regarding the transfer window.

After Carlo Ancelotti, Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa, Real Madrid are set to hire a fourth head coach in the space of a year. The Spanish media have been indicating for several weeks that it is José Mourinho, current coach of Benfica. The latter is already thinking about the composition of his future team.

The “Special One” saw like everyone else what problems Real Madrid encountered during the season, and what areas needed to be strengthened and modified. On the attacking side, a priori there is nothing to complain about since the Merengue offensive players are already legion. On the other hand, the midfield and defense leave something to be desired.

And according to the information revealed this Tuesday by AS, José Mourinho precisely wants to change two or three things at this level. On the defensive side, he would like two reinforcements. Everything should depend on the future of Fran Garcia regarding the left lane. If it leaves, it will have to be replaced. On central defense, the file is open without a definitive choice yet being made.

José Mourinho wants competition in the middle

Concerning the midfield, the Portuguese tactician is determined to provide a little competition. According to the Spanish media, it is Aurélien Tchouaméni who could see a direct challenger for his position joining Real Madrid. A second environment, this time more creative, would be part of the demands of “Mou”.

After Florentino Perez calls new elections for the presidency of Real Madrid, José Mourinho is forced to wait for the result. If the current Madrid boss were to be re-elected, then the big maneuvers could begin.
