A strong misunderstanding currently surrounds the vote for the goal of the 2025/2026 season organized by Ligue 1. The official website shows Mousa Al-Tamari well in the lead with 135,048 votes, far ahead of Ousmane Dembélé credited with only 2,337 votes. However, the official result ultimately designated the Parisian striker as the winner. This spectacular gap between the visible figures and the final ranking quickly raised questions among many Internet users and Rennes supporters.

At this stage, several explanations remain possible, including the deletion of votes deemed fraudulent, the use of bots or even a problem with the display of results. Especially since Al-Tamari owes its clear domination to its compatriots, who voted en masse. The Jordanian scored a sublime volley against Olympique Lyonnais (2-4).
