After two generally successful seasons at Losc, Bruno Genesio bows out.

Bruno Genesio had suggested that he could still be on the Losc bench next season. However, this will not be the case.

“LOSC and Bruno Genesio have decided not to continue their collaboration at the end of this 2025-2026 season and the two years of contract which linked its head coach to the club”, announced the formation of the North of France this Monday evening in a press release published on its official website.

Arriving in the summer of 2024 to succeed Paulo Fonseca,
Bruno Genesio
quickly imposed its stamp on LOSC, with offensive, structured and ambitious football. His team distinguished itself with several exploits against major European clubs, including victories against Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid, during the league phase of the Champions League of the 2024-2025 financial year.

Genesio, heading to OM?

This season, the former coach of Olympique Lyonnais led the Mastiffs to the third step of the Ligue 1 podium. Thus, Losc is directly qualified for the next edition of the most prestigious European club competition.

It now remains to be seen where the 59-year-old technician will bounce back. In recent days, he was one of the names most regularly mentioned to succeed Habib Beye on the sidelines of Olympique de Marseille.
