After last year’s disappointment, the goal set by the club’s management was to return to the Champions League and lay the foundations needed to establish themselves regularly at the top of Serie A.

For most of this season we have occupied one of the top two places in Serie A, with a real chance of competing for the Scudetto. The end of the season was in complete contradiction with the performances recorded so far, and last night’s disappointing defeat in the last match turned this season into an unequivocal failure.

The time has now come for change and a complete reorganization of football operations. With immediate effect, we part ways with CEO Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare, coach Massimiliano Allegri and technical director Geoffrey Moncada. We thank each of them for their hard work and dedication to AC Milan throughout their tenure.

Further announcements regarding upcoming nominations will be made in due course, with the aim of being ready and well prepared for next season », Indicated AC Milan in its press release.
