Despite this, the English international hopeful (19 years old) received a phone call from Thomas Tuchel in recent days. The instruction? Head to Florida to join the English selection training camp.

Those who saw the list of the Three Lions on Friday can rest assured, Nwaneri was not preferred to Phil Foden or Cole Palmer, who are the main “victims” of Thomas Tuchel’s choices in his list for the World Cup (with Harry Maguire and Trent Alexander-Arnold). The young attacking midfielder is called up as a training partner for the start of the A’s preparation.
