Just over three weeks before the start of the World Cup, Ousmane Dembélé sent a strong message to his teammates on the France team. Some see it as a hidden message intended for Kylian Mbappé.

After the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal, scheduled for next Saturday May 30 in Budapest, Ousmane Dembélé will join the Blues to compete in the 2026 World Cup (from June 11 to July 19). A competition that he intends to win for the second time in his career, after the victory of Didier Deschamps’ gang in 2018.

To do this, “Dembouz” is well aware that the entire team will need to be involved in defensive work. “If we want to win the World Cup, we are going to have to play as a team, defend as a team”said the PSG striker during an interview with RMC Sport.

A statement which did not fail to make Internet users react. Many saw this as a tackle sent to Kylian Mbappé, as we can see in the comments on X (ex-Twitter). It must be said that the captain of the Blues is regularly the target of criticism concerning his defensive involvement, whether at Real Madrid or in Paris at the time.
